My wife's Corolla needed an exhaust manifold and I shopped around to get some estimates. H.Daw was appreciably lower than the other shops. In another instance my 89 Camry had the distributor problem that was common to those cars. Since my car was at the end of its life they searched out a used distributor from the junk yards which saved me a good deal of money. I should mention that there are two shops under this owner - one on Main St in Downtown Nashua and the other one at the Sunoco station on route 101A next to Papa Gino's near Route 3. I go to the one at the Sunoco station.

These guys are honest. If you don't need an expensive repair, they'll let you know. They fully explain any recommended work and treat women customers fairly.

The gentleman I spoke to was not only curteous but beyond professional. This is the kind of place that treats you as if your life depends on the quality of work they provide and it is apparent that this is a group of people that have a natural sense of providing stunning customer care but also a great deal of care for their customers. I would encourage and support this company to anyone that needs proper service and treatment that has become quite rare in the world today. These are the real deal with an ethic that provides infinite amount of trust.... Excellent standards and highly recommended. Thank you to Rick (specifically) for your selfless efforts and honesty. It is invaluable and worth mentioning. I appreciate your professionalism and humane quality.

Rick at H. Daw is an excellent, honest mechanic. He's worked on my family's cars for about 4 years. Never encountered a problem. He also recommends someone when something falls outside his area of expertise. He sent me to a local custom exhaust shop for a muffler patch to pass state inspection on my 1999 V70, rather than replace the exhaust system. My wife and 20-something-year-old daughters bring their cars, and have never had an issue with repairs, or how they were treated. There's also a Daw's Sunoco in town on Amherst St (NH-101A, just west of US-3). Some of the heavy jobs, such as wheel alignments, are sent there. This occurs internally, no extra driving for the customer. You always pickup your car from the shop you dropped it off at. Rick occasionally works on a Saturday at the Sunoco station, which also has several good mechanics.
