Doug worked at a HONDA dealer and then opened his own shop. Best mechanic I have met. Prices are below what you might expect, and the expertise is phantastik! Would not mind working on your other non-HONDA car as long as you bring the HONDA to him.

Doug Johnson is by far the best mechanic I've ever dealt with. He is completely honest, and does quality work at extremely reasonable prices. I wouldn't take my car to anyone else.

Doug once had his travel trailer packed, his family loaded up and ready to go on vaction late on a Friday afternoon. Notwithstanding, after my frantic call, he waited for me to come by to get a belt replacement for my '95 Honda Accord that I had left stranded in a parking lot when the belt broke. He handed me the belt and told me to pay for it the next time I brought my car in for service. I'm going to replace this car someday with another Honda just so that he can keep working on my car. This guy is the best.

It is safe for me to say that Doug Johnson is by far the best mechanic I have used in the past ten plus years. His prices are a better deal than the "BIG" Auto Dealerships. I have been bringing my two Hondas to him for the past two years and he has not disappointed me and has always been able to repair my vehicles to my satification. I have, and will continue to recommend my friends to Doug Johnson to have their Hondas repaired.

This man is the best. I found him about him here. The dealership quoted me almost twice what he charged and then tried to tell me only they could do what needed to be done---had my wheels resurfaced, and a few other minor things. Here it is two years later---Doug did the work...was so low key about what needed to be done...and just did it---and not a problem with my wheels since. He is the kind of mechanic people dream about finding...honest, skilled, fair and a garage with a floor you could eat off of. Hope he never moves.

I've taken my Hondas to Doug for seven years. As the other reviewers have said, he is honest, competent, and just plain nice. I have yet to bring him a problem that he hasn't been able to handle. My decision on a new car in 2003 took into consideration that I'd probably be going to a different mechanic if I bought a non-Honda. That factor, plus a few others, tipped me toward an Accord. That's how good he is.

I've been very happy with the work he's done on my car. He's very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain things clearly. Highly recommended.

Doug is awesome. His only downside is that he ONLY works on Hondas, so when I bought a Toyota, I had to find another mechanic to work on that, although he keeps my wife's CR-V in tip-top shape. But good news... just bought a Honda Fit. Doug will work on that too. As an example, my wife one time went to the local Honda dealer for an oil change, and of course they came out with a laundry list of things that needed to be done right away (e.g. trans fluid, brake fluid, cabin filter, etc.) to the tune of $800. When she showed it to Doug, he told us the truth on what could wait (which was pretty much everything on the list).
