Until I moved to New Hampshire, my dad was my mechanic. By some stroke of sheer luck, I found Bob at Roy's Garage, who I trust completely and who never "talks down" to me just because I am a female. I hope I can find a mechanic like him when I move to Lousiana!

I have only brought my car here twice so far, but I've had good experiences both times, and my neighbor has been going here for years and likes them a lot. Jay has been the mechanic who has worked on my car both times and, both times, he's been straightforward, honest, and fair with me. Seems knowledgeable and competent in a "roll up your sleeves, hard-working" way. So far, my only complaint is that Greg, the owner, is a chain smoker and the cigarette smell permeates the whole place.
