2005 - Subaru (1996) overheating. First time visit to Avery Garage. He made a new radiator plug. No charge. Sent us on our way. Phoned me a few days later after researching this problem and informed us that we should probably consider selling the car before the cylinder problem (common to this make) becomes major. Took his advise. Sold the Subaru and purchased a preowned Volvo. 2005 - Mercedes C300 (1991). Being new to the area, Avery phoned my previous mechanic for the history of my Mercedes. This allowed for familiarity with quirks so that we didn't spend time and money unnecessarily. 2006-2009 - Various services on Volvo / Mercedes / F250 plow truck. 2010 - Mercedes (1991) looking like it will be expensive to maintain. Avery suggested instead of paying for costly repairs, get a new vehicle. Big surprise to hear this from a mechanic. Took his advise and sold the Mercedes, and purchased a new Toyota FJ Cruiser. Couldn't be happier. Sadly, less work for Avery. 2011 - 2013 - Various services on Volvo / Toyota / F250 plow truck. If my doctor was as concerned with me as Avery is with my cars, I'd live to be one hundred.
