My daughter, on a very tight budget, has gone to this repair shop several times. They have consistently treated her with respect, answered all her questions with, as far as I can tell (here in Michigan) excellent advice. They have gone out of their way to be helpful to her, and seem to have been careful about explaining what does, and equally importantly does NOT, need immediate attention. I'm impressed.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly First the Good. The owner was friendly and the repairs (a break job) were done competently. The Bad. The cost of the repair was $100 over the quoted cost (30% higher) with no explanation for the additional costs. I was called by a mechanic who gave me the cost of the repair and who said the owner was not available to explain why. The mechanic gave me the "I just work here" explanation, but promised that the owner would call me to discuss my concerns. The Ugly. I never received the promised call. Bottom Line While Subarus R Us did the required repairs, the charges were considerably higher than estimated with no explanation given or requested follow-up. I will not use the again.
