The things we appreciate most about Roy's are their reasonable prices and fair treatment. In fact, we had been quoted a price of $350 for a repair and had approved this amount . . . when we got the bill it was only $75! I've never experienced a mechanic to be so honest and willing to fix only what's wrong without pushing other repairs. We highly recommend Roy's.

Roy's replaced my starter after I had the car towed in to the shop one evening. They quickly had it back to me the next afternoon, charging me about $400. About two months later I was out of town and the starter failed. On a saturday afternoon. I called Roys and they spent about an hour with me trying to find an open shop in the area I was visiting that would honor the Delco warranty. No shop was open, so I took it to a random mechanic and he replaced it for $500. The mechanic at the second shop (who replaced it with an upgraded part and without allowing me to approve an estimate) thought I might get the price back for the part from Roys but not the labor. When I got back home, I went into Roy's with the bad part and they gave me a full refund-parts and labor. These are honest, good ol'boys who know what they are doing and run a great shop.

Man they love cars. If its a problem that I can't fix or figure out, they will give me the option of telling me whats wrong or fixing it. If they fix it , its right!!! PS: Roy has his own radio show, watch out!!

I am the kind of person (female) that likes to participate in the repair/maintenance plan for my vehicles. I especially want to speak directly with the mechanic that will be working or has already worked on my automobile. I have found Roy's to be very friendly and accommodating, even when busy. Also, I have to put in a plug that the service work is done in a timely fashion. Appointments are made and the work is done on schedule. Don't be late for an appointment, though, or you will probably have to reschedule because they are not willing to throw off the whole day's schedule for one person. (I actually like that policy!)

They charge dealer prices, but do excellent work in a timely manner. The owner doesn't have a sense of humor, unlike you guys. Mechanics have been there a long time as have other employees. The garage and waiting area are spotlessly clean. Transportation to and from can be a problem. They are a bit out of the way, but in a stable, mostly residential, neighborhood.

The work done on my car by Roy's team would have cost me triple if I had had it done by a "factory authorized dealer". And probably I would not have known that the problem - my car seat - was an easy fix compared to the way the dealer wanted to solve my problem which was simply replacing the entire unit instead delving into the root cause of the problem...which cost less. And with the same results - a repaired seat. Now, that's complete service!
