Mike and Gary are the BEST Volo mechanics in Charlotte. My Volvo is 13 years old and has 225,000 miles on it, all thanks to them. I see even older Volvos in their lot for repair frequently. They work exclusively on Volvos. They really understand how these cars work, and I can trust them to fix the car right the first time. They will even do little "extras", like fixing squeaks inside the car (after 13 years there are quite a few). They never try to push an unnecessary repair on you---they'll tell you that next time you come in, you'll possibly need to do whatever it is (like get new shocks). My brother used to drive all the way from Indiana for Mike and Gary to work on his Volvo. If I ever move, I might do the same thing. LOVE these guys!

Mike and Gary ALWAYS take my side over my husband's. Mike in particular will tease my husband when he screws something up and I have to have the car towed to them so they can six his screw up. They are the greatest!

They have worked on 4 Volvos for us. Now we have a 765 with 200,000 miles, an 855 with 150,000 and a 944 with 215,000. They explain things clearly even to my 23 year old daughter. When we had a 1983 244, they scrounged parts to make repairs more economical. Even though I don't like new Volvos, Mike & Gary's quality is making me look hard at the new Ford/Volvo hybrids.

I am the aforementioned daughter from the comment above. We all still have those cars, only with a few more miles on them. Mike and Gary have always been good to our family and I highly recommend them. I've tried to use the Mechanics Files to find new mechanics like them in Houston and Philadelphia, and so far, I haven't found any shop that measures up to them in prices or service. In fact, you're lucky if you get to go to them.

Mike & Gary have been servicing and repairing my cars since 1990. They do excellent work, are honest, do the work in a timely fashion. They explain what needs to be done, the time involved, and the cost. I have never had a problem with anything they have done. Their prices are reasonable. They treat customers well.

Mike and Gary are the best mechanics I have ever met in my 48 years. Whatever they tell me -- I always do it, always inexpensive, always fair. Totally honest.

Mike and Gary have been working on my Volvo 240 since the dawn of time. We've now got over 270k miles on her, and she's still running. Mike and Gary are great mechanics, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with my Volvo.
