the folks there will absolutlely take the time to expalin what is going on and in the case of my terminally ill Audi, tell me when it is time for automotive euthanasia.

Hilton is great! He fixed in minutes problems on my car that had stumped the local VW dealership for months. He's highly competent, does the work correctly the first time, and is always willing to explain both what he did and why. Hilton gave my car a very thorough going over the first time I brought it in, and made specific recommendations on what problems were minor enough that they probably weren't worth fixing just now on a car of this vintage (including some of the things I'd asked him to look at), vs. things that needed to be addressed soon. This both saved me money and gives me a lot more confidence in the car than I've had in quite a while. It's been years since the car worked this well.

I took my car in for a funny noise coming from the engine compartment. It turned out to be a major problem, requiring a 1300$ repair. Still, I would have paid a lot more at the dealership and I felt that I could trust their judgement. When I picked the car up, they took extensive time to gover everything they did, showing me all the parts they had replaced. They also alerted me to problems that I should pay attention to later on. So, even though I will have to choke on the bill for a while, I feel like these guys know what they are doing.

One of the best experiences I've had with a garage. They are knowledgeable, quick, reasonably priced and actually fun to talk to. Fixed my car the same day I brought it in for a price that made me smile rather than wince. I highly recommend these guys.
