They could have screwed me over a number of times (I obviously have no knowledge about cars), but they've always been honest and taken care of the real problem, without charging an arm and a leg.

Jeff Mattucks of Hank's Auto Repair replaced the shift gear indicator on my '84 Pontiac for $20 labor & $53 parts. There was additional work & expense, involving getting into the steering column that could have been done but he advised the cost would not be worth it. This convinced me that this was a completely honest as well as a good shop.

My car needed shocks (struts)I asked for an estimate. I was told that the job would cost 250.00 a wheel, would require a full alignment and take two (2) days!I went else where Earlier they repaired what they called a "Harmonic balancer" which was causing a whine while the engine was running. They fixed it and charged $450.00.

They (unfortunately) have worked on my chevy s-10 a few times. Always professional, fairly quick, explain stuff if you ask them to and although a little high in price always do quality work the first time around which makes it worth it to me!

This is a locally owned, family business that has the aura and business practices that take you back to a time when cars more than a commodity. I feel they care about their work and their customers. They have worked on all our cars, including my 1959 Corvette. Unless a dealer has a headlock on the proprietary items we need, we will not go anywhere else. The Tapit Brothers would feel at home here.

These guys are the best. I recommend them to anyone and everyone I can. I just wish they were open 24-7, because my car never seems to break down during business hours.

These guys are awesome. I have brought more than 10 cars to them in the past 15 years, and that included a couple of 1973 air-cooled volkswagons, a 78 Mercedes diesel, a Wrangler with a replaced engine, and my kid's plymouth. They very rarely mess up (usually it is bad parts) but if they do, they do it again until it's right. I have never felt cheated, talked down to, or otherwise taken advantage of, by anyone who works there. If anything, I don't always think they charge enough to work on my hoopties (don't tell them I said that though!). I have only strayed once, and have regretted it every since. THese guys are the best!

I had read the reviews and was looking forward to working with this shop but when I called them and asked when they have an opening for the repair of a upper control arm on a honda accord they (rudely) told me that they don't want to do the job. I was in disbelief as I am just trying to get my car fixed...they refused to even take a look at the car which I am driving even now but wanted to get a bit of work done on it.
