I have been using these guys for years first with my Ford Festiva and now with a Suzuki Aerio. They've always been good to me and everyone else here at my shop-my shop is very close to them which is why we first started going there. Their competence and reliability have kept us going. Most recently was tracking down the cause of the car's computer getting wet. And calling the body shop for me who had recently replaced the roof on my car in the course of repairing hail damage. With any luck at all, the body shop will pay for the damage caused by rain leaking onto the cars computer. If they don't pay, I'll be back here telling you what I think of said body shop.

I've taken a variety of cars (foreign and domestic) to Arch Simpson for a number of years. So have my daughter, her boyfriend, and several of my co-workers. If there's a more honest, competent, and fair shop in Columbia, I haven't found it. And before a friend recommended Simpson's, I had been disappointed at several! The couch isn't very comfortable and the magazines are old and sometimes have grease on them, but the repairs (if needed--Arch has talked me out of work I thought was warranted, but wasn't) will be done right. I heartily recommend Simpson's. It's a shop Tom and Ray would love.

Arch is a SAINT! They put in a new head in four days, this when they were already swamped. He even allowed me to make payments, due to my anemic bank account. A trusted friend suggested Simpson's after dealing with him for years. I've done the same after less than 2 years to everyone I know with car probs. It's a sad state of affairs that honesty, integrity & competence are things that make a mechanic stand out, rather than being the norm. Arch (& Brad) have them in spades. I wouldn't go somewhere else if you paid me. Plain & simple... BEST IN TOWN... PERIOD!

I've had several "mystery problems" with my 18 year-old Nova (this thing is harder to kill than a roach on shag carpet), such as occasional slight overheating on the highway. Arch always tells me if they can't be replicated & has never even charged me the usual minimum service charge. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my "classic".

I have gone to Archie's for about 20 years. They always take the time to check things out and explain what is wrong and what they feel will happen if the near future. They fix only what is broken. I have several "Kid Cars" and he will always offer to try and find used parts if you decide to go in that direct.Their labor rate is the lowest anywhere. I have routine mantinence on all my vehicles done there. One time, he sent a mechanic to me, when my vehicle refused to start. Honest repair shops like Arch Simpson are hard to come by.

The thing that I appreciate the most about Simpsons is the honesty and integrity in which they handle car matters. They're great about explaining any problems that a vehicle has and as a young women, it is nice to be treated to courteousness and tact when encountering the age old biases of 'cars.' I would highly recommend giving this shop a chance.

I have been going to Simpson Imports for car repairs and service for over 20 years! They have always been easy to talk to and understand, honest, and have very fair pricing. If a used part will work just as well, they will suggest it. No work is ever performed without a phone call and my okay. Thanks to Brad and the crew at Simpson Imports.
