These guys rock. I had a bad wheel bearing in my VW Corrado that also seemed to score the hub (they found THAT problem during the WB inspection). They went out of their way to find a $177 hub for $93 and got it all together and ready to go by the end of the day. I knew beforehand about how much I was going to pay, and their website has a 10% off coupon... I have also called and picked their brain (I fix my own car, too) and they have been more than helpful. Thanks, Dave and the rest!! www.vwman.org

Once again, the VW Man came through for me. I had a massively failing Water pump and although I have done water pumps before in other cars, my Corrado needs to have the engine lifted...I don't have an engine hoist so I thought I'd let them have a crack at it. They got me in within 2 days, had the correct pump and didn't do any unecessary repairs...saved me some $$ with the 10% off coupon, too.

A year ago, I took our 2001 Jetta to the dealership with a loose sounding rattly noise coming from the front right wheel. They found nothing, but changed a tie-rod and charged an arm and a leg. The noise continued and they shrugged it off and told me not to worry. This seemed weird. I went to the VW Man this fall and they worked on it for a day and changed the stabilizer bars. When that solution didn't work, they took the parts off and didn't charge me for these changes, only the labor. What a concept, eh?! They then found the problem and fixed it the next visit. It was the bushings and it ran us less than $200. These guys were honest, creative, and hardworking. You're a fool if you own a VW and don't go see the VW Man with your (many VW) problems.

These guys have a slew of extra parts lying around the shop, and their knowledge of VWs is unparalleled. I do some work on my car and was having a vexing electrical problem. It turned out that a wiring harness had been damaged by my radiator fan. They had an extra one in the shop and only charged me labor for the replacement. They also let my golf hang out for a couple of days after they fixed it as I was out of town on business. Great experience all around, I would recommend them to anyone with a German-made car.

These folks are wonderful! I had screwed up a rear wheel bearing by sliding on some ice and was referred to their shop. They were able to take the car the very next day and had completed all of the work in a very few hours. Very kind, very thorough, and warned me about an upcoming issue without trying to bilk me into having it taken care of by them. Because of that I will bring the car back to them to fix it. Great people!!

The people at this shop are amazing. So helpful, resourceful and willing to go over and above. We had just pulled out of the driveway for a two week camping trip when the steering went seriously wrong. Brian agreed to take a look and realized we needed a part with a two week ordering time. He looked and called to see if anyone else in town had the part or could salvage one and no luck. Then he saved our vacation by applying good old fashioned know how and elbow grease to retool the part. He sent us on our way happy and very very grateful that there still people who know to fix things!
