My wife slid on ice and hit a guardrail. She went to the closest shop to see if the car was safe to drive. The mechanics replaced both sway bar links, but only one was broken. Price for parts was $195.32. There was also a $15.63 charge for "hazardous materials". I checked the price for sway bar links at the local auto parts store, they are $15.99 each with a lifetime guarantee. Unless I miss something my wife was outrageously overcharged, and un-needed work (drivers side link) was done.

I started going to this shop because they were within walking distance of my apartment. I have since moved, but I still bring my car to them. I'm not great with cars, but they never make me feel stupid or intimidated. They charge a fair price for the work, they have a great turnaround time, and they're always really pleasant. I recently had to have a part replaced in my car, but it turned out there was an underlying issue that caused it to break again. I brought it back to them and they fixed it, no charge. I'm a fan and would highly recommend this shop.
