Mike is a very good hands on manager. And the mechanics take good care of me, especially Roger. Once when I was getting new tires put on my 1993 Chrysler at Costco, they stopped work when they couldn't get a lug nut off. They told me the car was too old. So I drove a mile to Car-X. Mike had me pull up the car outside of a bay, put the air chuck on the lug, took it out and sent me to the nearby Checkered Auto Parts store for a new lugnut. No charge. I went back to Costco and they finished their tire work. They've replaced a rusted gas tank, faulty flasher. Last year when 16 yo daughter drove too fast over a speed bump and broke a coil spring on our Ford Focus, AAA towed us to Car-X. Mike looked at the problem, then sent me to the Ford dealer because they had a recall on coil corrosion. He also told me that the Ford dealer would also pay for towing from his shop, which they did. That saved me $300. My wife detests being involved in car repair, but she will go see Mike.

I have gone to this shop for quite a few years with a Buick, Ford, Toyota, and Kia. They have done a good job-- both Mike, and the new manager, Steve Rosoff. They have explained what they are doing, have done the work at a reasonable cost, and have done the job a second time for free if something was not quite right. Steve has even given me some free oil changes after a major purchase like brakes or shocks. If it was not a repair that they could do, Mike sent me to the dealer, but with information on what the repair should cost.

https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=10206489550909242 NEVER bring your vehicle to Car X. The link above is a video of a conversation between myself and the so-called manager, Steven Rosoff. I came into Car X today to seek reimbursement for multiple expenses that were caused by him or one of his employees overfilling the power steering fluid in my car. I was extremely polite and calm as I explained the mistake. He, however, began raising his voice and swearing at me, denying any wrongdoing on his part. I started recording after he continued to yell and swear and slam his hands on the counter repeatedly. No paying customer should ever be treated this way especially after what this place had already put me through. Please note I was also extremely irritated at this point and this is not how my attitude was when the conversation began.
