Took my Honda Accord to get four new rotors and pads. The owner is very hands-on and gave me a quote of $325. The next closest estimate was $710, while the dealer was asking over $900. The quality of parts were middle of the road. Not the cheapest parts, nor the best. The owner said he never had complaints with this selection, but he would put on anything I wanted, but the price would be adjusted some. Fair enough. I asked for ceramic pads, but they were already included in the above quote. The work was done perfectly. My vehicle came back repaired and without obvious signs a grease monkey had been working on it. You know, greasy fingerprints on the interior panels, etc. I also asked to have the left rear wheel bearing replaced, for more money, but after the test drive, he was not sure the left side was the problem (he thought the right side bearing was going). So, he did not do the work. Fair enough. I'd rather not have a mechanic change a part if it doesn't actually need it. Any ways, I ended up taking it to the dealer which said the right bearing was bad. Overall, I strongly recommend the Muffler King. The facility is old and run down, but the mechanics are knowledgeable and polite, and the equipment is serviceable. Also, as I said, the owner is very hands-on and he happens to be the lead mechanic on-site.

I had a very impressive experience with Lim and his staff. Lim was very hands on and took time to make sure I saw the problem and he recommended a solid solution that was a great value. I've reviewed the solution and the implementation. Lim and his associate are true artisans, welds are very neat and tidy, the geometry of the installation was perfectly aligned and stress free. I found the cost was astonishingly competitive with the cost to do it myself not including the exorbitant amount of time it would have taken me to get it done. Lim was also very knowledgeable and addressed all my concerns before I could even voice them. Lim and his staff convinced me that they really care about their customers. The car is new to me and they made solid recommendations for work the car would need going forward at my request, yet this was done in a consultative way, so different than other shop experiences. I certainly would recommend this establishment to any one needing exhaust or suspension work.
