Very good work, great rep timely, but charge $85/hour. Charged me 30 minutes for 15 minutes of work--I timed it. Would still recommend but will have to watch the cost.

Their chief technician, David Laing, is what I have always wanted in a tech. He is very picky with details, and never cuts corners. He understands a lot about a large range of cars, and this is important to me. The shop overall is a relief to visit. All my work is well documented with the software they use to write invoices and estimates. They store all the information in their database. They are very thorough and competent. They work on the hourly system and only charge for time spent on the job. That's why I give them my business.

Munk's is the best, most reliable mechanic shop I have used. They are experts with VW and associated german cars and did very good work on 2 Mazdas I had for years (both went well over 150,000 miles). I first went to them when I was suspicious about a dealership's claim that I needed brake repairs. After checking out the '89 626, Chris, the owner, asked me who had told me that the car needed work as the brakes were good for at least 10,000 more miles. That was the beginning of a vehicle service relationship that lasted for 8 years, until my wife and I moved from the area. Munk's takes the time to explain what's needed and what they have done and their costs are reasonable.

I first encountered Munk's over 15 years ago when I had a seriously weatherbeaten '80 Datsun 200SX. Despite the shabby appearance of both me and my car they took very good care of both. They were honest with me about the car and fair about their billing, and so I went back. Since then I feel as though I've become part of the Munk's family. Munk's specializes in VW/Audi but I've brought them the '80 Datsun, an '87 Golf GTI, two '87 Audis, an '89 Escort GT, an '89 Geo Spectrum, my pride-and-joy '91 Miata, and who knows what else. Most of what I've had them do is repair work, but they also installed a Jackson Racing supercharger and other go-faster goodies in the Miata (Nice work, Dave!) and also hopped up my '87 Audi 5000 turbo quattro. I regularly see Porsches and other exotics there as well. All in all, they do excellent, thorough work and I have repeatedly recommended them to friends, family and mildly interested passers-by.

Reasonably priced, customer oriented, and they take the time to explain things as they go along. I am very pleased.

A thorough inspection is conducted of the vehicle prior to conducting the work. The results are reviewed with the owner, and agreement is obtained on all work prior to the start of repairs. Service advisor George Walsh is very customer service oriented and knowlegable. A great deal of time will be spent to ensure that any questions are answered. Costs are expensive but are competitive for a Mercedes- Benz, a high cost vehicle for purchase, routine servicing and repair work. The quality of the repair and servicing returns the the M-B to factory specifications. Overall, Munk's definitely delivers a properly serviced vehicle and customer satisfaction.

This is the best repair shop I've seen in 30 years! These guys could write a book on great customer service. I've been in the service industry my whole career and, if I built a repair shop, it would look just like this. I've spent a lot of money at Munks and have not felt like any of it was unnecessary or even a questionable expense. From the owner, Chris, to the front office team, George, Alex, & Kim, to the mechanics Rick, Dan, John, Larry and the rest, I've gotten nothing but honest, friendly advice. They excell in looking for low-cost alternatives and have even suggested that I do some of the work myself to save money! WTF? They have even told me HOW to do the work. They even offer free clinics on taking care of your car. Who does this these days???
