they have worked on our "fleet of cars" though the years including all the bad 2nd hand ones we bought for teen-aged drives (3). They always advised us if there was a "hidden warranty" on something that was wrong and arranged to take it to a dealer at no charge to us. Once, when our college- aged daughter had a major car problem, she took it out of necessity to a dealer near the university about 100 miles away...we listed to her explain the problem, P&R told us it sounded like a wheel bearing - our daughter told them to please check the wheel bearing, but they just replaced part after part without fixing it bringing the bill to a couple of thousand dollars....my husband finally drove to the dealer, told them to put all the original stuff back on and was still forced to pay a fee for their time. We hauled the vehicle back to P&R where they repaired it quickly and offered to reimburse us for our out-of-pocket expense at the dirty dealership (it was one of those 5 Start chrysler Service Centers - hah!) They are as honest as the day is long at P&R...I have more stories, all showing how they go above and beyond every time. I don't care how many boat payments they have (we are on Lake Michigan)- we always are surprised in a GOOD WAY with our repair bills at P&R.

P & R is the only repair shop that my wife trusts when it comes to getting her car repaired. She started smelling exhaust fumes inside her car which is a 1998 Escort. We took it to P & R and it turned out to be a bad PVC hose. They replaced it. All we were charged was the cost of the replacement hose and no labor.

We've taken out 2001 Corolla there 3 times in the past year. Each time P&R was honest about the problems and did quick repairs. All three times, the bill was under $75.00

My brother took his Intrepid in to have new shocks/struts installed, and when he got it back, someone had broken the plastic cowl at the base of the windshield in several places and tried to glue it back together, never saying a word about it.... The times I've taken MY vehicles in, they kept 'adjusting' the finish time of my repairs; the transfer case they replaced on my Durango has never been right since they did the work; My ex has taken my son's Subaru in 4 times now for an overheating problem, and they can't seem to figure it out... I think they believe they can do as they wish because they are 'established', but I will never take another vehicle there....
