They don't do unnecessary work - my ABS was making noise, but still worked. They recommended against replacing unless there was an actual performance issue.

Went in with a pretty good idea of what was wrong (needed wheel bearings). They fixed my car quickly and didn't try and sell my any fixes I didn't need. Cost of repair was by far the cheapest around (by $30/wheel). Nice, friendly guys. Give me a ride back to work if I call ahead and bring the car in on days they aren't too busy.

These guys are absolutely wonderful! My husband & I happily travel from Perry to get to them. We have been relying on this shop for the past 5 years, and will not settle for service anywhere else!

Doc's fixed the rough idle on my Honda when the dealer could not. The owner explained exactly what the problem was and how he fixed it. He did not try to sell me any other services.

My daughter goes to school at MSU. Not knowing any shops in the area, I consulted cars.com for a recommendation when her car broke down. They got it in, diagnosed the problem (speed sensor), had the car back in a couple of days, charged her $525 and sent her on her way. I received a call from my daughter a half hour after picking it up - it was doing the same thing, the car was not fixed. They were nice when I called but they couldn't get it right back in, because they "had other appointments scheduled". They did get it back in the next day, fixed it and all is well. The plug to the sensor had come loose and unplugged. Overall I am satisfied, I believe they are honest and fair. My only issue is they should not have made her wait another day to finish the job.

Very personable people. Had an electrical issue that took them a lot longer to figure out than they charged me for. I had it to 3 other shops that could not figure it out. These guys are honest and fair, all at a reasonable cost. Highly recommend Doc's to anyone who wants super honest and fair auto repair.
