I have taken this shop and my experience there for granted over the years. There were times when they did not feel right to charge me for something because it was a loose connection or something that did not take up their time. Their prices have been reasonable and now that my wife and I have been in an accident (where our Volvo was totalled by an SUV) I have had to rely on them to help me find another car. They not only did that but as soon as they heard of the accident and that we could not drive they immediately came to our aid. They picked me up on the way to the towing yard where our volvo was so I could retreive some personal items, they took me to my bank in another city so I could get out the cash for the next Volvo I was buying,and they checked it over and made sure I was happy with it. I like a place that knows my name even though I am not a "big spender" and even though I keep bringing them beat up old 240 models to work on! I would recomend them to anyone in the area and I will not take them for granted anymore!

Competent and Honest. A combination that Tom and Ray would have thought impossible to find. Should have been taking my car here for years.

What impresses me with these guys is that they don't do unecessary work. In 2 of the 4 times I have brought vehicles in for service, they have advised me to wait to combine the repair with scheduled service that would save me money on labor.

I have been a customer here for many years and feel I get the straight story. My previous cars had over 250,000 miles and they worked with me to keep them going without spending more than necessary, but still have a safe car to drive. I have recommended Quality to many friends. Recently, our new Toyota Matrix had a mysterous problem that they could not find. The engine ran rough and idled very high (bad for gas mileage). Wayne recommended the dealer for the inside track which I tried. The dealer suggested replacing the ECM module for +1200.00, but could not guarantee a fix. I drove the car out of there infuriated. Wayne called me a few weeks ago saying he recently fixed a Matrix with a very similar problem, a hidden sensor gone bad. He called me again when I did not bring in the car. Sure enough, last week he replaced the sensor and the car runs great. It is a relief to have a mechanic you can trust and will go out of there way.

I've taken my VW's to these guys for about 8 years. These guys have been amazing. I'm usually the only female when I go in there and as a 20-something, I never felt intimadated or anything. I took a VW break for four years and now I'm back and plan on taking my passat there if it should need any repairs. In fact, I'm planning to take it there next week right after I buy it (used) for them to go through and make any necessary adjustments, repairs etc.

Wayne has been working on my cars since 1990 and I have had complete trust in him. I will probably get rid of my Volvo when I move out of the area and there won't be someone like him to take care of it. Their prices are reasonable and the one time things didn't go right, he came through with no charge. I highly recommend him.

Wayne switched out the radiator in my 1998 Acura Integra; two months later the upper radiator hose developed a tear and the coolant leaked everywhere in the engine cavity and under the car. I called Wayne back, explained what happened, and he told me how to drive the car to the shop (11 miles) from my office safely. When I arrived a replacement hose was being delivered. Wayne drained the engine, replaced the bad hose, refilled my coolant, and kept me at the shop with the car running hot until he was satisfied it was safe to go. Only charge was for parts, no labor. While it's a pretty non-time intensive fix that I could have done myself, Wayne did it quicker and cleaner and was more than willing to answer my questions of doom such as what I might be in for with my head gasket. Brian at the shop was also helpful. Highly recommended, they know what they're doing and care about the customer even after the sale.

I live in Colorado, and even though the Toyota Tundra I was thinking of buying (from Suburban Toyota, in Troy) was certified, I still wanted it thoroughly checked out by an independent mechanic. I found Wayne through X-Files, and am I glad I did: he discovered the driver's side seat frame on this "certified" vehicle was broken. He offered to re-check the dealership's repairs before I shipped the car out of state, and then refused to accept any payment from me for his time & expertise when the deal fell through. Too bad he's thousands of miles away, because he'd be my new mechanic.
