Sandy won't fluff the bill or sell you something you don't need. He tells you what's wrong and fixes it, and only it, not half your engine. I'm incredibly oversensitive to how my car runs and on numerous occasions ive gone in with what i thought was a problem and turned out to be a loose nut. I could have been easily sold on something expensive but was shown the real problem and told not to worry. Sandy has a lot of experience racing SAABs and knows how they are supposed so sound , feel and run. I gladly drive two hours (each way) to have my car repaired by him and he's never steered me wrong(no pun intended). He keeps my `88 900-SPG with 200k running like a top. He's a great guy to boot, how many people have invited their mechanic to their wedding?

The best shop I've ever been to. They diagnose and repair correctly (the first time) the problem, on the day, or in the part of a day, that they said they would, while telling you all you wish to know, and providing a loaner. Perhaps I forgot to say they are personable, charge reasonable rates, and keep the billable time down. I'm very, very pleased to have found these guys, and I hope the personnel involved stay there a while.

Sandy (the owner) seems to have moved to executive management; now Mike is at the desk and handling the day-to-day running of the shop. He is very nice, explains everything and bends over backwards to provide wonderful customer service. If my headlight bulb blows out, he fixes it the minute I drive on the lot. I am religious about getting my car serviced on schedule. They always accomodate my schedule, give me a loaner, wash the car and vacuum the rugs. Plus they know how to fix the car! This is a great shop. I am so happy they are only 3 miles from my home.

Sandy doesn't own this shop anymore - it's a guy named Kyle. He will provide you with a loaner or a ride to where you need to get if necessary. They treat female customers great and don't try to put one over on you. In no way do they try and take you. I had them work on my back brakes and they showed me exactly what was wrong by bringing me into the shop and pointing out all issues to me. They are extremely nice and have great mechanics. The labor is $75 an hour and they don't mind if you bring in your own new/refurbished parts to put on, they also have parts from other Saabs there. They are extremely competent and worth checking out. My 92 9000 is pretty old and rusty and they have managed to keep her together pretty well the few times i've brought it in. They work on Swedish cars but they also have Audi and VW work. I highly recommend them.

Great Service! Always fair and reliable. Will find used parts to cut repair costs.

I first went to Swedish Solution in 1997. I will admit that I liked my mechanic so much that I married him. We now own Swedish Solution together. Contrary to other posts, Sandy does still own the business. For a brief period of time (2006-2007, we sold the business. We continue to work almost exclusively on Saabs and consider ourselves an affordable, quality-oriented alternative to the dealership.

They did great work on my 2007 Saab 9-5 before I sold it. Always very flexible in terms of scheduling and provided quality service at a fair price. The major 60K service the dealers and Saab recommend can be performed by Master Tech's at a much fairer price. They even vacuumed the car before returning it to me. If you have a Saab this is a great place to bring it!
