This is my regular maintenance garage. They do all routine repairs. The are always done correctly and explained thoroughly. Recently my 2006 Toyota Matrix was approaching 60,000 miles, as I had purchased the extended warranty from the dealer, I wanted the car checked before going to the dealer. John found a leaking rear axel seal and a small hole in the pipe which joins the catalytic converter to the muffler. He advised me that the cat. converter was warranteed and the whole assembly should be replaced as he could not issue an inspection sticker. I went to the Toyota Dealer with this info. and they could not see the hole. Back to Top Notch and they showed me the hole. John also spoke with the service manager and advocated for replacement.I was able to point out the hole to the dealer's mechanic Result: both repairs made under the warrantee. This saved several hundred dollars. It pays to have an expert on your side
