Fan-freakin'-tastic. Only problem is he's so good, he's starting to get backed up. But he's well worth waiting for. Best, most honest mechanic I've met in 40+ years of driving.

Reviewing this mechanic presented an interesting challenge since this mechanic has had my truck for seven months without fixing it. As far as I can tell, he put it in the shop once, maybe twice, ordered one part that he now says was faulty and had tried to blame me because I wasn't calling him enough. Every time I go in to check on any progress, he laughs and asks whether I'm carrying a baseball bat. It makes me wonder whether physical threats are what he understands. Courteous patience certainly isn't working.

Have heard numerous terrible stories about this place. I guess because they have a AAA Towing contract, and the owner is friends with the police force, he can just do whatever he wants to anyone. Have heard of him keeping cars for months and refusing to fix them, not giving them back. Have heard of him stealing cars from single mothers and telling his friends on the force that the car was abandoned--taking advantage of his power as the AAA guy in the area. Only person I ever met that had something good to say about him was an attractive older woman who worked nearby. I guess he might treat you okay if you go in as a regular customer, or if he knows your family or something. Don't get your car towed here!! Ask the tech to tow it to a different shop.
