Ted Melanson always treats his customers fairly. If he can't do something, he'll let you know. He will never do work that needs to be done and usually finds the cheapest (yet still competent) way to fix your problem. He and his staff are also a great people in general who treat all customers with respect. Our family goes to no one else for car maintenance.

Ted and his staff are wonderful. I won't go anywhere else (unless there's a recall on my car, then I kinda have to) but Ted is competent, he's a great people person, the only problem is everyone goes to him. He's a small garage with a small but competent staff. As long as you can take the day off, you should be good to go.

On our way to Maine for a short vacation we had to make an emergency maneuver on the Mass Pike that resulted in one of the rear brakes binding up. The problem wasn't bad enough to immobilize the car, but did cause squealing and overheating of the rotor/caliper. We were leery of driving home with this condition so we visited Ted Melanson's Auto Service. Ted had a number of repairs already scheduled that day but squeezed us into an early afternoon spot. He worked on the car at the exact time he told us and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem for a very fair price. His quick, professional, honest service gave us peace of mind during our six hour drive home. Thanks Ted!
