They work only on Toyotas. These guys have a dry approach to things; cool, understated, frank, clear, and agreeable. I don't know how they would react if they screwed up, because as far as I know they have never screwed up with my car. I don't know how they would treat a woman customer, because I'm not a woman and my wife has never taken the car to them. They seem to treat the other women reasonably well who are there when I happen to be there. Their hours are 8am till about 5:30pm, although they'll stay till about 6 pm if they know I'm coming to pick up a car and am late. They are not there on Saturdays or most holidays. Brian seems only to run the office. He's very patient explaining. Bob probably oversees the shop (about two or three guys work for them) and does work himself. I've talked with him, too, and he really seems to know what he's talking about. I had an old Toyota Tercel for about 6 years (from 6 to 12 years old) which they kept running nicely. I bought a new Camry just so I could continue to have them as mechanics ... they work only on Toyotas. A GOOD and reasonable shop.

Car: 1990 Toyota Celica GT Problem: computer failure symptoms: reduced power, fuel consumption high Note: the Shell Station near our house could not find the problem It took satellite a couple days, but they did a good job. Pleased with the interactions with them.

All that's missing is a coffee machine. Great bunch of guys. Very professional and willing to explain in terms even I can understand.

We only buy Toyotas now because these are the only mechanics we ever want to deal with again. We have been using them since our 2nd Toyota which we bought in 1985. We currently have two 2001 Toyotas and one 12 year old Geo Prism (really a Toyota corolla). After mistakenly buying a dodge caravan we returned to Toyota swearing never to stray again. Once we were picking up one car and leaving another and I couldn't get my husband to pull out of the parking spot so I could drive into it. He was sitting there amazed at how little he was charged for the work they had just done. THese guys are great. We have never had to have them fix a screw up because they have never screwed up anything on our cars.

Yesterday they called to say the transaxel housing for the Matrix was cracked & they'd have more info this AM. This AM they said their tech so over tightened a widget two years ago that when they went to service the transaxel, they cracked the housing, offered me a rental car for a trip originally planned for tomorrow & told me they'd fix the whole mess no-charge. Had they given me a load of bull & charged me whatever, how would I have known differently? I've been a customer for more than 25 years & find this typical of the way they do business: honest, reasonable cost, respectful of customers no matter how ignorant, all the virtues. Which is why I drive only Toyotas: they service nothing else, & having them take care of my cars is more important to me than having some advertiser's dream of the car I should have. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Trade whatever you're driving, buy a Lexus or Toyota, do business with them, & be happy.

After two successful oil changes and a few odd repairs, I was extremely angered to discover they didn't replace the oil cap on my most recent change. Thanks to some good karma or dumb luck, it was sitting upside down, on top of the hole, in an indentation, thus preventing the swift and sure destruction of my engine. I called to bring this to the manager's attention, and after an admittedly sincere apology, I reported I would no longer use their services - the response was, "everyone makes mistakes." Interesting testimony considering it was the slowest day I've seen the place and it took them four and a half hours to do the oil change and rotate the tires. God forbid it's busy.

The work seems to be well done, they made one repair with used parts (which saved me money!), and the fellow who generally answers the phone and works at the front desk (can't remember name--sorry) is helpful and friendly. I went to them based on previous reviews here, and I'm glad I did! I would not go to them for an oil change or something basic due to the distance, but I will go back to them for major problems to squeeze more life out of my '93 Camry (140K miles).
