They sold me the car in the first instance 4 1/2 years ago and have serviced and repaired it ever since. I trust them implicitly, so that's a bonus ! I come from a car mechanic family,in England, where my dad and 2 brothers had a repair shop. Dad did the body work, the boys did the mechanical repair or built new engines and Mum did the books -no she didn't fiddle them !! So I was always spoilt by having free car services and repairs and someone to check oil, water, tyres etc before I went on a long trip. My car was always humming (and smiling!). Coming to the US was a wake-up call as there was no family business here to fall back on. Over the years we used whomever and finally in 2003, I got a job in Rockville, MD and one of my co-workers had a husband who worked in a garage. I was in need of a car at the time. They had one just sitting there waiting for me- they had bought it from one of their customers as a run-about, done it up and then decided they didn't need it, so wanted to sell it. I bought it in 2003- it is a 2001 Corolla- for $7K and the rest is history. It has never let me down and apart from the fact that it is white ( which I hate), it is brill!!! I have it serviced and repaired by them always, even though I have moved now and live about an hour's drive away. Jerry Ormsby owns the business and Andy Carpenter does my repairs and services.
