Thoroughbred is a small business in a quiet community whose services aren't limited solely to transmissions. They service all makes and models and perform a wide variety of services and repairs in a clean and well equipped shop. Their mechanics are very competent, highly trained, honest and friendly to both men and women. They go out their way to keep the customer informed during repairs. My neighbors have used Thoroughbred repeatedly to maintain and repair their vehicles without complaint. They've replaced the seals in my truck's leaky differential, diagnosed and replaced the crankshaft position sensor in a neighbor's minivan, and rehab'd my boat's trailer so it would pass inspection. They've even advised against installing a transmission cooler on my truck ("You don't need it") when they could have made a quick buck installing one. The owner, Steve, is a local gent who leaves the air hose out 24/7 for anyone to use. This shop is a local gem and is highly recommended.
