Right next to the light rail, these guys are topnotch. Thorough, experienced, no surprises. Occasionally a job will go a little long and a little over estimate but that's usually because they found and addressed something other places might let slide.

THINGS HAVE GONE DOWN HILL IN THE LAST YEAR OR SO I THINK THEY ONLY HAVE 1 SAAB MACHANIC NOW AND LIKE 2 EX JIFFY LUBERS. I OVER HEARD THE OWNER DAN TALKING ABOUT HOW ITS LIKE A REVOLVING DOOR FOR MECHANICS. I DON'T KNOW ANYMORE IF I WILL TAKE MY 9-3 TO THEM OR NOT, ITS ALMOST WORTH THE DRIVE TO HUNT VALLEY JUST TO HAVE THE COMFORT OF KNOWING A SAAB TRAIN PERSON IF WORKING ON MY CAR, I THINK HVS ALSO PROVIDES FREE LOANERS. bILL

They have a nice waiting area with a popcorn machine and their friendly dogs. The MARC's about it for public transit, though.

Shop charges a $130 to $260 assessment fee to find what's wrong with the car. This fee is not credited when you have them fix the problem. They are expensive, with some repairs even more expensive than the BMW dealer (!). I would recommend you get quotes from other independent shops to compare.
