These guys are great. Honest. My one objection is that their shop is too crowded, they have so much work. If possible, call ahead to schedule the repair visit. Our neieghbor's new Sienna had an automatic door that kept breaking. The dealiership could not fix it after 3 visits. The took it to Emory, he told them that the defective part was under warranty. No charge from Simca. Compare that to the $85-100 "troubleshooting" fee most dealerships are charging today!

I agree with the survey results (all great!). This is perhaps the best car repair shop I have ever come across. Honest, nice, competant, cheap, messy, and they are named after a car that is no longer sold in the United States.

I owned a 1978 Ford Pinto as my first car - what a piece of garbage it was. It spent most of its time being repaired by these guys. I think that they felt so bad for me being a high school kid with a clunker that they often didn't charge me when the repair wasn't too expensive. I had a series of other lemons and they fixed them too - often recommending reconditioned parts to save me money. Eventually I got better at picking cars and saw them less often. I eventually moved out of the area I hope my car doesn't break down. They have been my mechanics for approximately 15 years. They are very trustworthy, competent and professional.

I found Kensington Simca through a friend. After 40 years of owning cars and having them worked on by both dealers and indy mech. I won't be going to anyone else in the future. One clincher other than the quality and price of the work is the fact that EMERY will retrieve check engine codes and advise you on what action to take "without charge". They actually think they are providind a service and not just a way to create revenue - or pay for the boat.

My wife and I have taken our cars to Kensington Simca for several years now having been referred to them by a close friend. Emory and his father have hearts of gold. They work very long hours (until 9pm or later) in order to satisfy the needs of their customers. They offer very thorough analysis of mechanical issues and advise on what should be done now, and what we can put off for a while if we choose. They frequently offer cost-saving alternates and let us know if/when substantial repairs may be looming on the horizon so we can prepare for them. We have used many mechanics in the past, but will only use and happily recommend Kensington Simca in the future.
