I have an old Ford Taurus which has required a lot of repairs recently which have been done at George's Amaco. Their prices are always about the same, if not less than the other shops nearby. Plus, they warranty at least some of their work and remind you of the warranty when it comes time to have to fix something. I brought my car in because it was running hot, but they couldn't find anything wrong with it. A few weeks later, the radiator cracked. I brought it back and they replaced it for free, just because they had checked out the coolant system a few weeks before. These guys are definitely the best mechanics I've ever been to.

Glad to find this shop. Dealer quoted $750 to replace oxygen sensor (to be fair, that included a $300 fuel system flush in addition to the wallet flush). Georges replaced it for less that $200. Dropped off the vehicle late morning, and it was ready in the afternoon, and a bonus is that they are open 24 hours/day, so you can pick up your vehicle any time. I'll definitely use them again.
