As a licensed marine engineer myself, I work on large, slowspeed Diesels(less than 100 RPM). When I'm home, however, I have neither the time nor inclination to work on my own vehicles so I entrust their care to Larrywho I have come to appreciate more and more. He is ruthlessly honest.

Larry worked on my sable wagon a number of times and always came in under the estimate and in a timly manner. The wagon had 235000 miles when the transmission and fly wheel went. I had the car towed to Larry's and asked him if he could fix it. Larry said "yes but". Larry put his hand on my shoulder, look me in the eyes and said "its time". It was like he was a vet telling me that it would kinder to put my old dog down. I took his advice.

I have known Larry for many years. My first experience with his shop occurred when I couldn't find anyone to repair the special carburetor on my ex-police vehicle. Several people pointed me to Larry, saying he was the only one with the knowledge and special tools required for the repair. When I appeared at Larry's shop, I was immediately struck by the neatness and cleanliness of the shop. He promptly fixed the carburetor, came in under estimate, told me what else the car might need, and spent the time necessary to make sure I understood how it all works. As a female with only some automotive knowledge, I greatly appreciated this. As the years went by, these qualities remained....but I became his fiancee!

I have never had to go back twice. (for the same repair) I've known Larry for 15 years. In this time he has NEVER given me bad advice/service. Although Larry goes completely through a repair replacing any suspect parts involved, Larry is a little expensive on parts. Larry does not mickey mouse ANYTHING. I am a DIY er. Larry has always helped me through a head scratcher, or stumper. (maybe this is a part of my long term connection with him?) When I am out of time, or can't do my own repairs (due to time, or tools) Larrys always seems to fit me in, and do an excellent job. Of several mechanics on Cape Cod, I have found Larrys Auto Tech to be the most professional, honest, and technically correct.

My husband and I have used Larry's shop many times and he even gave a car we were thinking of buying a thorough going over before we bought it. He did this spur of the moment. He's always kind, honest and straightforward, No BS. How refreshing.. Glad he's in the neighborhood! Sue Dropo

He was able to fix my f150 blown spark plug issue. I bought the truck used and when I went to change the spark plugs the third plug in, on passenger side came out with a hack job fix for a blown out spark plug. Brought it to Larry, he did some research and fixed the problem correctly. The best thing about Larry and Ben is that they pride themselves to do all their work correctly and professionally. Remember you get what you pay for. Auto tech is worth every penny. Thank you
