Mike took over for his dad, Bob. He has become almost a friend as he is a pleasure to work with - where getting you car fixed is pleasurable at all. He won't do more than you need or want, and will do it quick and right - or he will make it right.

Mike Bonnell took over the business from his Dad, Bob a number of years ago. Mike grew up in the business and he learned it well. He often takes on the tougher diagnostic jobs that other mechanics in town can't handle. I stumbled onto him out of desperation about 7 years ago when I had a car with multiple problems that the dealerships could not diagnose and haven't gone anywhere else since. I like that he sends me an e-mail detailing the diagnosis and cost of my repairs. His e-mail is: bobsmo@mail.ziplink.net

My Car was an Emissions reject. Was to another garage and failed three more times.A friend mentioned Mike and He had it repaired in one day. Pleasant to work with. Has so many certifications on the wall in his office, he is running out of wall space.Going to use him again even though a am a few towns away. Highly recomment to others. Good day. JRR

I've been a customer's of Mike's for over 20 years. I appreciate his honesty and technical ability. He determines the problem, does the repairs right the first time, and charges fairly for his services. I've had many cars over that time, and he's given me his honest opinion of the condition of the car. Hey, Mike, I want to keep this one for another 2 years, what do you think? Well, he says, I wouldn't put too much more money into this one, you might get one more year out of it. You can't ask much more than that. An he's a real computer guy, he's been taking appointments over email for years now. That's more convenient for me and I appreciate his flexibility with this. Hard Working - Honest and Reliable. I usually drop off early AM before they arrive ... I pick up Late after they Close ... I am Updated during the day via Email - By Phone if there is a serious issue. I leave a blank check for him to fill out ... been doing this for years. Who do YOU leave with a blank check for the Establishment to fill out ...??? They take that EXTRA step to ensure quality work at a fair price. Check them out.

What more can you ask for in auto repair? Professional yet friendly, honest, fair, accurate, great technical ability along with years of good old fashion know how. Bob's Motor Workshop has it all. It does not get any better than that.

I found Bob's Motor Works through cartalk.com and found the reviews to be vrey true. Mike Bonnell is very honest, friendly and fair. I would (and will) recommend him to anyone.

The comments from other customers seems false. I went to this shop after looking after its recommentdation from cartalk. Mike charged a hefty price for diagnosis and parts/replacment. The part price from autozone was 1/3rd the price he charge. I don't think I can trust them for my next job.

So I am a researcher by profession - and having just moved to the area needed a good mechanic when my 2000 Infiniti 1-30's temperature gauge stopped working (or it worked too well -, as it appeared my car was always overheating). I checked out some reviews on Mike and other nearby shops on cartalk.com. I made the journey from Rhode Island to see mike at BMW after having a HORRIBLE experience with my local Infiniti dealer service shop. Mike was very kind - remembered my name - provided prompt follow up on what was wrong with my car. His prices are fair - given what you'll pay at Infiniti. If you have a newer car- don't be freaked out by the muscle cars around Mike's shop. My car looked like a fish out of sea - but the service was IMPRESSIVE. I'll be sure to take my car back to mike. Finally a repair shop I can trust!
