Sam and the staff at Little Car Car have been the most honest, professional and friendly mechanics I have ever dealt with. My '97 Jetta was had a dashboard light was on that my regular mechanic couldn't figure out. He wanted to change me $800 just to hook it up to the computer with no guarantee that he would figure it out. A friend recommended Little Car Care and $40 later he replaced a hose that had split. He keeps my Jetta purring and keeps telling me to save my money and don't sell until he says he can't fix it anymore.

Sam, the owner is a VW god... the man has been working on them for 30+ years. His staff is great as well. He works on anything VW... air-cooled, water-cooled and even trikes & dune buggies. I drive from Boston to have him work on my cars, and I'm not the only one! Nothing but good things to say about his shop.

My father was an old-fashioned, honest, knowledgable, neighborhood mechanic. These guys remind me of him. They do great work, take your car in right away and are reasonably priced. And, as a middle-aged woman, I was pleasantly surprised at the way they discussed the repairs with me.

Sam and his mechanics did a great job on my 2001 Jetta. The dealer didn't know what the issue was so I started to look around for a local mechanic. I'm glad that I found Little Car care. Sam knew what the problem was within an hour of having the car at his shop. Asked pertinent questions about car's repair history so as to look at potential sources of problem. In short found out that only one part needed to be replaced (also happened to be the cheapest) versus three and fixed it at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this shop for it's knowledgeable, friendly and efficient service.

I have been bringing my v-dubs to Little Car Care for thirty years. They have been working on them since the old days of the Bug, and all they have worked on since has been all V-dub. They know them inside out, always have completed repairs on time and have been fair with price. Never screwed up, and once even took responsibility for a failed clutch disk 6 months after they had replaced it. Even though technically it was a manufacturers defect, they replaced it again all on their dime. Obviously I have long history with them, but thats still pretty stand-up for a business to do, especially 6 months later. I have had cars towed over 200 miles away because I wont go anywhere else. Definetly my strongest recommendation!

I've taken my '99 VW Passat to Little Car Care several times in the last few months to fix a myriad of problems - including the water pump, ignition switch, valve gasket, and lower forward suspension arms. I've found the mechanics there to be friendly and competent. They've done great work and been very reasonably priced (much less expensive than the local dealership). In my experience the work is always completed the right way the first time. My only complaint about them are that they're not convenient to alternative transport and they have no waiting area - so if you take your car there make sure you have someone to pick you up.

Not only do they explain the problem before they fix it, they save the part to show the problem. Sam and his staff really dig cars and the people they service. Can't say enough about their operation, car care service, work ethic, and customer service!!!!

This place USED TO be awesome. I was a loyal customer for almost 3 years but ever since Tony left I wouldn't trust these guys with my kids ten speed. A couple iffy jobs I could forgive but beyond that, my brakes were 'fixed' yet they failed 5 miles after leaving the shop. Was told he drove it around for an hour and thought it was fine. Yet low and behold, I went flying through an intersection at RT 114 and was close to getting creamed by a Mack truck. When questioned about the work they did, their story changed to 3 guys drove it around for a couple days. So either they are too incompetent to know when the brakes aren't working properly or they're lying. Either way, If you want reliable service look elsewhere. Seriously, like anywhere else...at all.
