Peter is absolutely amazing in competence, honesty, and friendliness. I have came to his shop 3 times so far, and he would actually take the time to explain to me, in detail, exactly what's going on, and what "other dishonest mechanic" would have said to make more money. I have never met someone like him in the last 20 years. Now my wife, family, and all of our friends are coming here. What a great guy! Two thumbs up for Peter!!

I've been with Peter for a long time and he has never failed me. He takes time to explain the car symptoms and give me alternative ways to have the car fixed. He is a very honest mechanic. One of my older cars, he told me it is not worth fixing it since it cost almost as much as the value of the car. What a guy! I’m glad he opens up his own shop! I would recommend him to everyone!!

Replaced my Heating core and AC evaporator at a price that was $700 cheaper than dealer. It was done timely and honestly. I would strongly recommend them.

I am a very cautious driver and try to take very good of my car. So what did I do when my car had its first major problem (brakes)? I took it back to the dealership to have them fix it, of course! My philosophy is that if they can do a great job, price would not be a big issue. And that's what dealerships always advertise. WRONG!! After paying close to $500 to get the brakes fixed at the dealership, the same problem came back about two months later. I went back to complain but was told that my car would not be looked at unless I agree to pay for the time. WTH?!?!?!? I got fed up and asked around to see if there is any good mechanic around and was referred by a good friend to come to PJ's Automotive. I was shaky at first because the place just recently opened but all worries went out the window when the lead mechanic there (Peter, I think) explained what was wrong with my car. I am not a car person so I couldn't remember what he said but he sounded very knowledgeable. I found out that was has been a mechanic for 15+ years and just decided to open his own ship (I am a small business owner myself so this is a plus because I am always supportive of local businesses). Anyway, the place was very busy at the time (good sign for a new business?) and I was promised that my car would be fixed in 2 days. I got a call one day later (wow!) and was told that my car was done and ready for pick up. I came there expecting to be wacked on the head with the costs but almost kissed the clerk when I was told that it would only cost me $232.71 (more than half what the dealership charged me!!). What a place!!! My side mirror was recently sideswiped so I called this place again and was greeted by a clerk who took the time to place the order for the parts for me WHILE ON THE PHONE with me!! No wait time! Brought my car in the next day and was taken care of within 45 minutes! They offered free coffee on Saturdays (I think). The price for this job was also very reasonable. I rarely write reviews because I don't think anyone reads them but I had such great experiences with these guys that I wanted to help them out. The were very upfront about my car problems, honest, and friendly. Again, I try to support local businesses (one of them lives in the same town I think) and this is one great place that I would go to bat for. Check 'em out! HQN

A hidden jewel! These two guys (Peter&Tom) have been taking care of whatever cars I drive for years. Experience, reasonable price, friendly, or etc., you name it!! I brought most of my friends' cars which have mechanical problems to Peter in the past few years, and he never missed a shot! Peter did excellent work for those cars and all of my friends are satisfied with the work. All right, So..I would recommend this shop to whoever loves to take good care of their cars, pay a reasonable price, and get friendly service. PS. Better yet: They are certified mechanics in your area!!
