Bobby Holcomb is a terrific mechanic/ human being! Last winter my 17 year old son blew out his engine on the MassPike in 20 below zero weather. The MassPike contracted towing company wouldn't take a credit card on the phone, (Duh! Everyone carries huge amounts of cash these days? Especially traveling teenagers?), and wanted to tow him to an impound lot about 100 miles from home. Bobby had the company tow my son's car to him, and paid the tow truck guy $300 cash from his own pocket until I could get there to pick up my frozen kid. Above and beyond the call of duty for a mechanic! We have had Bob work on many of our cars- first my husband's 1994 Volvo and my 1989 Dodge Colt; then my son's 1996 Mercury Sable and my Dodge Caravan. We have always found him to be fair and he is great at explaining what needs to be done. He is now concentrating on "training" my teenage driver to maintain his car properly by offering incentives like reduced price oil changes or a free vacuuming if he gets his car in for service at appropriate intervals. Everyone needs a mechanic like Bobby! I always recommend him to people.
