Bob and Brian are capable and honest dealing mechanics. If after any inspection work is not needed they will truthfully tell customer. Their prices are much lower then most competition.

Bob was twice saved me significant amounts of money fixing timing belt problems on my 88 Mazda 323. He also gave me sound advice about another shop in the area which had previously "fixed" my timing belt problem. His advice empowered me to take the error up with the previous shop and get a refund on the erroneous work they had done to cause me to take it to Bob's in the first place. Bob wrote a detailed invoice explaining the nature of the previous shop's error. He also explained and showed me under the hood the type of repairs he did. Bottom line, Bob runs a tight, honest shop and is personally involved in his customers' car problems.

Bob's Auto Body is a family owned business run by Paul & Paula Ridley. Paul has been in the auto body business all his adult life. In the mid 1980's he left a lucrative position with a well known Quincy spring shop where he managed the bidy shop for the company, to buy and operate his own business. He purchased the established Bob's Auto Body in Brockton and proceeded to build a fine general repair shop, hired very competent technicians and then began to specialize in Toyotas. Bob's Auto Body will service any make of auto for almost any ailment.

He treats women like their humans not roborts. Listens to everything and is very honest. I have been using him for over 15 years or so. He is relatively on the young side (40ish) compared to me (66). A family man, very competant, if he can't find it with his personal know how, in comes the computer, and you know what that can do at times.

My wife and I have had the good fortune of taking our 87 Lynx and 91 Sable to Bob on two occasions in the past 6 weeks. In each case he didn't do ONLY what we requested but (in the best interests of safety) treated the cars as though they were his own and went the extra mile to carefully inspect all major (and possibly minor) systems in in the cars. Then, he prioritized and went over pros/cons with us. In addition, he even performed some repairs either: (a) without charge for parts or labor since he was in the middle of a specific process anyway, (b) discounted the over repair bills rounding down, or (c) allowed us to defer payment for the additional (preventive) maintenance. Finally, he details each car before releasing it back to the customer. Both run as though they were brand new (and look new as well).
