Precision Auto is great--fast, capable, honest and friendly. The only downside is that they are always very busy. They will work on anything but specialize in Japanese cars, especially Hondas. Once I took my '90 Mazda 323 in because the clutch was really going. They put in a new one for $350 which could have been a lot worse. Another time my left blinker was not working, intermittently. Kenny quickly determined that it was the flasher unit, which I suspected but didn't know how to prove (or fix). He said he couldn't replace it because it was a dealer-only part, but he very nicely showed me exactly where it was, and I got one from the dealer and put it in no problem. I have never had to take anything back for a second try. Ask for Kenny--he seems to run the place, plus he's the only one who speaks good English.

Frank is honest to the bone. In my opinion he is the world's best mechanic. I have been going to him or his dad before him for over 30 years. His dad was one of the first VW mechanics to comeover from Germany in the 50's and Frank has been learning from his dad since he was a baby. He is careful and attentive to detail in everything. I have recommended him to many people over the years and I can't think of anyone who was unhappy with him or his work.

Frank has more attention to detail than anyone can imagine. He's by far the most honest and opinionated mechanic I've ever met. He cares so much about cars, I don't know when he has time for anything else! When I ask him a simple question as to why something isn't working, I get an entire lesson in the mechanics of that part. IF I had the brain for that stuff, it would be fun..but unfortunately I don't. But the teeny bit I take away from his knowledge usually sticks with me. He doesn't have the capacity to offer a loaner car, so don't bother asking. I would highly recommend Frank to everyone.

Frank is a great mechanic! Specializes in VW but does quality work on all makes. He also has a dealer's license and is located blocks from the huge ADESA car auction, so he will find you a car to your specs for the cost of the pre-purchase inspections. I no longer live or work near Precision Auto, but I brought our VW and Honda there for years, and we bought our Mazda CX-9 through Frank. I strongly recommend him!
