Dave runs a taxi service and a towing service out of the same garage so he can tow you there and you can take a taxi home! Both services are 24-hour so you can break down anytime. Dave is honest and reasonable and he stands by his work.

For months I had been living with a drivers door that would not open. The mechanic in Arlington had put me off for weeks. I need to order parts. The parts have not come in. But within minutes, Dave had the door fixed. These things rarely break. You rarely need new parts, unless somethings happened, like the door handles ripped off. It was a matter of reconnecting a rod. Probably caused by a Slim Jim. Were you ever locked out? Then I remembered the time a fireman helped me out with a long, smooth tool. A few weeks later, my car wouldnt start. The AAA serviceman who jumped it said it was probably the battery. The next day, I went to Sullivan Tires in Burlington and got a new battery installed. Ten days later, the car wouldnt start again. People at work said, Oh, now you probably need an alternator. The car was towed to Pattersons and I was prepared to pay a pretty penny. Something else Ive noticed about Daves shop is that things are almost always fixed in 24 hours. The car was running again that night. It didnt need an alternator. It didnt even need a new battery. The whole problem was caused by dirty connections. Dave diagnosed the real problem. He cleaned the connections and replaced the battery terminal. He put in a used battery for $20. Maybe most important, he put in a call to Sullivan Tires. Ive been working with Mike over there for years. Great guy. Very honest. Dave evidently explained the situation so completely that Mike started writing out the credit before I even got to the counter. The whole thing cost me

I had a problem with my car leaking coolant. I went in to a jifflube place and they told me about the leak. But they couldnt fix it.SO they recomended a shop next door to look at it.So i brought it over there and they said it was a head-gasket and it could be upward's of 1000.00 dollars. so we have been to patterson's before and had a good experience there. so we droped the car off and Dave called me about 2-3 hours later to tell me it was my waterpump and it would cost approx 175.00-200.00 what a difference. So needless to say I told him to fix it
