The shop has one *really* good mechanic (Mike), who both does repairs and supervises the other mechanics. I have brought several cars that I have owned into them, and have found that they have fixed them in a most satisfactory manner. One of the things I especially like is the fact that when my check engine light comes on, I can drive to the shop and they will hook up a device to find out what is wrong with the car. This is done at no charge and without needing to schedule an appointment. This is a $70 charge at most garages. Parts Plus is also a AAA Roadside Service garage.

I first encountered Bellingham Parts Plus through AAA when I needed road service. At the time I was using a different mechanic. The gentleman that provided the road service gave me a quick opinion of what he thought was wrong with the car and also warned me not to let a garage tell me it was something else which would be more expensive. Long story short, the other mechanic (which I thought I had a relationship with) did indeed try to sell me something I didn't need. I've been taking my cars to Bellingham Parts Plus ever since. Having older cars, they are always honest with what needs fixing and very honest and reasonable with what they charge. I highly recommend them to everyone in the area. I wouldn't go anywhere else, myself. Not a fancy shop, but all are excellent, knowledgeable mechanics. Finding them was such an added bonus of my AAA membership!
