When my husband and I moved here from outside of Chicago, we didn't know where to go for quality repairs. A company that had done some flooring in our first house(Cetury Carpet and Design) said that a very good friend of his owned a shop that was well respected and recommended that we try him. That was the best referral I was ever given and the owner Ed Tibbetts and all of his employees treat my husband and myself very respectfully, they provide us with rides to the train, home, or to Dunkin Donuts while our cars get repaired. I would never hesitate to send any to him, Infact we sent our new neighbors to him and they agree. My husband owns a Harley which Ed (who is a bike enthuiast) was more than happy to do minor repairs and tune ups.

I went to these guys with a problem with my car while my husband was out of town. I was essentially hostage to them as this is my (and my baby's) only method of transportation. Instead of taking advantage of me, as they could easily have tried to, they were totally considerate, respectful, and responsive. They called to make sure that they were adequately reproducing the issue I was noticing, and told me I did not need to replace a part I thought I would need (and was anticipating paying for.) And they didn't patronize me! They have been mechanics in a pinch for 2 of our out-of-town guests, with great results, and they will be our first choice from now on too.

I can't recommend Park Street Garage enough. I have had all of my vehicles serviced by Ed and have sent many to him. Finding a mechanic like Ed you can trust is like striking gold!

I have been a shade tree mechanic since is was 16 (about 44 years)so I consider myself fairly knowledgeable regarding auto maintenance/repairs. These guys are terrific. They do what they say they will do. They will give a price (not an estimate)before they do the work. and they do it in a timely fashion. I will definitely take my car there again when I need to have it serviced. They are absolutely a pleasure to do business with.

I've had my car serviced twice with Ed. I will definitely be a return a customer. He was able to properly diagnose an issue with my car that the shop around the corner misdiagnosed. Ed's shop is a kid friendly place with seats, a fish tank and t.v. We will have our Jeep serviced there next! Ps. I tried to answer "N/A" to the question "They respond well when they screw something up", but it wouldn't let me. Park Street Garage has never screwed up anything for me, but if they did, I believe they would.

The motto of this garage is "If you don't need it, you can't get it here." Ed is honest and a pleasure to do business with.
