My GMV Suburban was towing a 25' RV trailer when my transmission began smoking and died. I limped my car to their place; they got me a rental from down the street, and, although backed up on work for a week, they fixed (rebuilt) my transmission and installed a new transmission cooler in less than 2 days and so I was back on the way for my vacation. All the guys at the shop were friendly, neat and professional and the total charge was only 1375. Super job.

Quite the repairman indeed!! My toyota camry would hesitate violently when I would start from a stop, but would not do this when I would start from stop in reverse. My mechanic though that this was a complicated tramission issue and recommended me to contact Interstate trans. He drove the car around for a few minutes and then popped the hood to immediately discover a punchured rubber air intake tube, which he fixed immediately with some duct tape, and car drove fine. of course I replaced the tube with a new one later. The deal was that when I drove the car in reverse the engine would pitch one way effectively closing the punchure in the tube and in drive the engine would pitch the other way stretching and opening the hole further thus causing the hesitation I was noticing. Sharp guy indeed.

I was having a problem with my wife's cars transmission. I took it to interstate expecting a big repair and repair bill. It was a minor issue with the transmission. They fixed it for free. I wanted to pay them but they said to just remember them when I needed a big repair. They were very honest and knowledgable. I would recommend them to anyone who needed transmission repairs
