Larry has always repaired our vehicles promptly, correctly, and very reasonable rates. I know of several instances in which he legitimately could have performed services for a substantial fee, but instead suggested alternative methods that were as effective but much less costly. People have brought their cars from as far away as 360 miles because he performed the same repair for several hundred dollars less than that quoted at several of their local shops.

I've found them to be pleasant to work with and they provide suggestions for the lowest cost ways to do the job. They work quickly and have always been finished when they predicted. I've always felt confident that they did a good job.

This is the best shop I have ever dealt with, barring none. I have had many cars in my life and known many mechanics across the country. Many were quite good. Larry and Japanese Automotive, however, stands out a standard deviation or more from the best of the rest (and in the right direction!) Larry is thorough, conscientious, always on time, tech savvy, obsessively honest, and very pleasant. He fixes things right, possessing an uncanny diagnostic ability that has all but vanished in modern mechanics. I've taken my last six cars here and plan on taking my next sixteen. Forget the dealer and come here.
