I live in Indiana. My wife and I were in Colorado. My high school baseball playing son traveled to Kentucky for a baseball tournament, driving our 2002 Honda CRV. After the game, it would not start. At all. Belt problem? Distributor problem? Fairly major (albeit routine) problem? Long distance, I found Van's Automotive and arranged for the CRV to be towed locally to Van's (2 mile tow). Three phone calls with Van's, and I found Van's to be honest, sharing information openly and completely. Van's gave me an excellent summary of the diagnosis and three alternative strategies (along with pros and cons of each). After sleeping on it, I chose a strategy and the CRV was ready for pick up the next day. Everything that we had agreed on was taken care of, completely. Afterwards, I consulted with my regular hometown mechanic. Van's had handled the situation appropriately and at a reasonable, competitive price. Wes K
