This repair shop is the best. They fix just what's wrong and are always honest. Very personal, attentive service.

I have patronized JR's for around 10 years. They are extremely easy to work with, honest and willing to explain things in a manner that the average customer can understand. It is a family owned business. JR, the founder, died in the last year and the family decided to continue the repair side of the business and close the used auto sales. The shop continues to be run in an honest and efficient manner. I would not say that JR's is the cheapest shop in town but they are honest, efficient, stand behind their work and work hard to keep your business.

I've had my 240 and 940 serviced there. Since JR died, it seems they have lost a little energy. There have been times when I've been told that it is X to fix a potential flame trap problem, then the next time, I've been told that it's Y, then it was fixed. However, they have earned a lot of chips over the years by saving me a lot of money by not strangling me when they could have. There have been times where they have installed rebuilt, used, or pulled parts from a junkyard to save me $$$. I would say they are fair, and I do not question their competence in repairing Volvos.

JR's has done a great job on my poor abused '88 240 wagon. They are always upfront about which repairs I need and which repairs can wait. They also have lots of used parts in stock (for cheaper repairs). If you have a Volvo, this is the place to go.

We have a very well used Volvo for my college daughter. With the help of JR's manager, Lonnie, we are keeping our car costs down while still providing reliable and safe transportation for our student.

For Volvos, this is the place to go. They are helpful, honest and reliable. They let you know what needs to be fixed now for safety reasons, and what can wait. The prices are fair, and you won't get taken like at a dealer. Highly recommended.

These guys do a great job, are honest, and never go for the more expensive fix when a less expensive one will do. We've had several Volvos over the years, and a serious consideration in buying a new car is "can JR's fix it".
