I was traveling from Florida when my A/C went out, and went to Kool Breeze on the recommendation of a lube shop attendant. The last couple of times I've had A/C problems (different cars) the repair cost was over $600, so I was expecting a substantial bill. Imagine my surprise when Mike Watson (owner) found a faulty freon valve that cost $4.99. The total cost of repair was just over $100. I know honest mechanics are rampant in Cambridge, MA, but it's sure nice to find one somewhere else.

Simply the best! If you've dealt with a few too many mechanics who pull a fast one on you just because you're a woman, you'll especially appreciate Mike at Kool Breeze in Lexington. I've had repair work done there, but I also stop in for him to take care of minor problems, then and there, no charge (replacing bulbs in inaccessible places; removing rusted on license plate screws....) Couldn't ask for a nicer guy. He runs an honest shop.
