This individual is the only employee, mechanic owner of the shop. He is very competitive in his pricing and uses quality replacement parts. He worked for the local Honda dealership as a mechanic for many years before setting out on his own. He is a factory trained Honda machainc but will work on just about any type of car or truck foreign or domestic. He is very honest about cost and other problems that may be encountered. He gets booked up well in advance so you will need to make an appointment to get you vehicle worked on. I have used this mechanic for the past few years and have been very pleased with him. He does not do engine or transmission rebuilds though. But, he is great for just about everything else.

Pat has done work on my Honda Accords for half or less the quote from the dealer. Mostly timing belts, water pumps, and tune-ups. Once, when the A/C temp control knob would not work, he switched it for the fan speed control knob and sent me on my way--no charge, as the inside of the knob had merely worn out. He is too busy, though, with a two or three week waiting time, so call ahead. Sadly. he no longer works on Honda carburators.

A friend has used him for 10+ years and always had good luck. When my clutch needed replaced, I checked with my regular mechanic and the Honda dealership. (~$1200 and ~$2000) Pat did the job for ~$800. Scheduling is a bit of a pain, as he's booked up sometimes for a week or more. For scheduled maintenance items (water pumps, timing belts, etc) where "now" isn't a big deal, his shop will be my first choice.
