Mickey doesn't try to sell repairs or parts that aren't needed. He charges a fair price, and when he tells you the car will be ready, it's ready.

Recently my daughters car developed a very bad oil leak. The car was leaking so badly that I wouldn't let her drive it. We had the car towed to Mickey's shop on a Saturday figuring that when the shop opened I could call Mickey and let him know what to do. Mickey was at the shop when the car arrived. He recoginized the car, and even though he had only been at the shop to do some routine maintainace on his equipment, he pulled the car in and repaired it. By the time that I got home from the place where the car had broken, there was a phone message waiting for me that the car had been repaired, and that I could come and get it. That is what I call service.

Mickey is probably the most honest person I know. Once when I was in his shop he showed me a BMW he was working on. The car had been looked at previously by the dealer, and was estimated to need over $1000.00 worth of front end parts. Mickey examined the car and found that it only needed a pair of ball joints. Mickey repaired the car, and the bill was a fraction of the dealer's estimate. I recommend Mickey highly.

Mickey is the honest, and best, mechanic that I have even run into. The guy is a prince. He charges about 1/2 to 1/3 of what a dealer would charge and the job is always done right the first time

Mickey is probably one of the most honest mechanics there is. He will only fix what really needs to be fixed and he will work on a problem until he finds the cause. He doesn't just start replacing parts to see if it appears to fix a problem.

Mickey always has my car ready when promised, and when I had him get a new set of tires for me his quote was $200 under the local Firestone dealer - any he got me a better tire than the other place was offering.
