I've been using Thomson B&A since before they moved the shop several years ago. Don Brittain is the owner now, he had been working for the previous owner up until the move and transfer of ownership. Don is a very professional, knowledgable mechanic who knows the ins and outs of doing work on daily driver cars and also on working on drag or autocross cars. Don has always been fully honest and gives an honest assessment of what work needs to be done, despite the fact that four out of the last five times I've been in, that resulted in a no-charge bill when no work was needed. In over ten years of using Thomson B&A, I have found that Don is a trustworthy person and a great mechanic, and as a result I regularly recommend his shop to all of my friends.

Thomsons used to be the only place I would take my vehicles, however the last several times I have taken a one to them, I have had to take it back several times. The owner seems to have checked out and the work just isn't being done correctly. Additionally several times he was drinking when I came to pick up my truck. Sad to see a good business go downhill.
