Rick specializes in BMW and Mercedes cars only. You don't have to be a car jock to get his 100% attention to detail, but if you are, he welcomes you, and on occasion will even let you help in his garage. He volunteers his time at BMW car club events and specializes in performance enhancements and mechanical restorations. Nice guy.

Rick is a true gearhead. He lives and breathes Bimmer exhaust. As a matter of fact, I think he diagnoses engine problems just by sticking his head near the tailpipe..."Er, your 540 needs lower sulphur gasoline and you need to wind it out more often. And please don't take offense, but that soft rock you've been playing is really giving this car a case of lethargy." Rick worked for years at a BMW dealership before starting his own business and the people he's hired, Chris and Kelly, are also BMW trained and experienced. Chris just came over from the local dealership after 8-10 years working there; his main reason for going to work with Rick was because he disliked the way the BMW dealership, like so many, isolate the mechanic from the customer. At Vaughn's, he's free to take as much time as needed with customers and go on extended test drives to diagnose elusive problems. I've had our car in for everything from scheduled maintenance to clutch replacement without a single snafu. These guys are good!

***Avoid this shop if you don't want your car damaged by them*** Horrible experience here because I took my car in for some service and they put a Dent in it without telling me. I found the Dent after I already got home and of course they denied it initially. They wasted half of a day of mine having to drive back, drop off my car and return again to pick it up so they could have the damage they inflicted repaired. Poor Service and Avoid this shop at all costs. They do Not respect customer's time nor cars!!
