Sonny is a great mechanic. He and his comrades in the shop are willing to take on and fix any problem that you have. If they can't fix it there, they know where to take it.

This mechanic is absolutely wonderful! And he didn't even pay me to say it for him. His prices are reasonable, but not the cheapest in town. But when I pick up my car, I have the security of knowing it's been fixed just right and there's no other major problems lurking under the hood. The few times someone has screwed up in some minor way, the problem is fixed pronto. Lastly, this mechanic is willing to have me walk in the shop during during a busy day (for him, not me) and troubleshoot some obscure problem for me for nothing! What more could a consumer ask for?

Don is a patient, thorough and knowledgeable professional. When my wife's Subaru Inpreza would intermitantly crank but not start I took it to the dealer asking them to fix that problem while they did the 120K maintenance. They didn't fix the problem. Don checked his extensive data base and noticed that engine had a history of bad timing sensors. Bottom, the problem is fixed. Work at his shop is not cheap but the bays are clean, well organized and the work is always done in a timely manner. He even provides complementary cab fare since his shop is on the far west side of town.

All employees at the shop have always been very friendly. Thank you cards after my first visit and a recent expensive visit were a nice touch. Prompt phone calls received when expected. Employees take the time to listen, explain, and discuss. Recycling practiced here. World Wide Auto Email seader@earthlink.net

These people are very professional and take the time to listen to you and thoroughly explain the problems and repair options. This is an honest mechanic (especially rare to find when you are a woman and have an old piece of junk)!

This is the best shop I have ever found. Strongly recommended.

World Wide Automotive Service specializes in European and Japanese imports. I now live in Indianapolis but will illogically drive to Bloomington (52 miles one way) to have Don and his mechanics do my car repairs and routine maintenance. As a single woman, I am very leery of being taken advantage of when it comes to car repairs, but trust WWA explicitly to not rip me off or do unnecessary repairs. They test drive all vehicles after service. They are also cheaper for routine scheduled maintenance than the Bloomington Honda dealers. Taxi service provided.

Don is great. I had a very complicated problem, but one that was clearly evident. The dealer, who had been ok until they got rid of most of the foreign car mechanics, kept telling me I was imagining the car's symptoms. In fact, it was a serious problem that could have led to an accident if not fixed. Don figured out the problem within a 10 minute test drive with me, and explained it fully. It was an expensive repair, but done perfectly, and the car drove like new. What's really great about Don is that he thinks analytically and doesn't just replace parts to "see what happens."
