My relationship with this shop began back in 1998 when I needed a rebuilt trans in my 1992 Subaru Legacy at 150K, I sold the vehicle in 2001 with 250K on it and the trans was running just as good after the rebuild. Since then, I have had vehicles in there for U-Joints on my trucks and for fluid changes from time to time. I now have a 2005 Dodge RAM with 280K on it and the trans needed some TLC (aka rebuild). Previously I had some major engine work done, and when I received it back there was a small trans leak that they fixed. At some point along the way it came back and resulted in the trans failing. The guys at Atomic rebuilt the trans and took a test drive with it and did not like their work. They let me know that it was going to take a little longer than expected. Replaced the valve body as that is usually the cause what they were encountering. After which they pulled the transmission again as the valve body was not the problem but a very small crack in the transmission case. When I inquired as to how much more this was going to cost, I was told nothing as they should have caught it when they were assessing the initial repair. These guys are fair, honest, do great work and stand behind thier work 100%. Highly recommended!!!
