Dave Ryner, the owner, has been the most honest mechanic I have ever encountered. He always fixes my vehicles the first time there is a problem. He went out of his way to help my old Lincoln Contintental limp along (giving it a hip replacement when the air bag suspension gave out). He always picks up my car and drops it off either at home if necessary, or always at my work place. Anytime I have a light or noise annoy me I just drive in, he takes a couple of minutes to fix, reassure me and I go on. No payment required. He has two young assistants who are as kind and competent as he. Probably the nicest things he did was to allow me to pay a bit at a time when money was tight and he barely knew me. And, when the aforementioned Lincoln finally gave it up, he took a couple of hours off in the afternoon, and helped me find my current car! Again, no money, just wanted me to get a good deal on a car of which he approved! The man wants to retire to New Mexico, I told him he was too honest to make enough money to do so! Please include him in your stellar list. Linda Rowley

This is a wonderful shop. They traveled fourteen miles to pick up my daughter's 1977 Honda Civic, towed it to their shop, fixed it the same day, and she picked it up that afternoon. All that for $130. It was the ignition switch. They sent the bill home to me in Iowa City via my daughter and released the car to her. This is one of the benefits of the midwest. Honest and trusting people (for the most part). jtr

Dave is a liar and a cheat. straight up lied to my face and sold me a vehicle with underlying issues he knew about and likely to get sued for gross negligence
